A design studio for the contemporary home — rooted in the geometric and material traditions of the Islamic world.
Sophistication was never simplicity.
It was always density, held in balance.
ARBESK picks up where centuries of geometric mastery, material honesty, and sensory richness left off. Every object we make carries the structural logic of its heritage — never as ornament, always as architecture.
Our first object is Mirage. An hourglass diffuser whose carved-walnut crown holds a slow ritual of light and scent — designed for the time you set aside for yourself.
Notify Me When It LaunchesWe are not interested in revival. Heritage is not a costume. The objects we make are continuous with a tradition that never asked to be modern — and yet, by its own internal logic, always was.
Pattern is not decoration. It is the logic by which an object holds itself together — the same mathematics that built the Alhambra, the Aljafería, the carved cedar ceilings of Fez.
Walnut. Borosilicate glass. Brass. Limestone. Each material is named, sourced, and visible. Nothing is hidden behind a finish. Time is allowed to mark its surface.
An object that engages only the eye is unfinished. Sound, scent, touch, weight, and the slow passage of light are design materials — and we work in all of them.
A small ritual of light, scent, and time — measured in walnut, glass, and three signature compositions.
"We do not believe sophistication is the absence of detail. We believe it is the presence of the right detail — held in balance with everything around it."
Mirage is the first in a family of objects that make daily ritual visible in the home — through scent, light, and the falling of sand. Not an appliance. An heirloom.
